When Charles Eames first designed his famous arm chair in 1948 for MoMA's Low-Cost Furniture Design Competition, he had practicality in mind. Since then his designs have, of course, become modern classics. This DAW style chair mimics the original features, with its smooth edges and a wide base. We have changed the seat height to 46 cm, as each generation grows taller, the original design of 43cm height needed updating. The fibreglass seat is available in a variety of colours and leg woods. Our pieces are high-quality reproductions.
